Easter Sunday

Happy Easter Everyone...
Hope everyone is having fun with egg hunts, worship services, and family time. Please remember to rememeber the reason why we are celebrating today. Jesus Christ died on a cross, not a pretty lil metal shape containing diamonds that may hang from someone's neck, but wooden possibly splintery planks containing nails that were driven into His wrists and feet. He wore a crown of thorns that dug into his scalp, causing Him to loose even more blood. He had His back lashed open before He walked up to Calvary. He couldn't even carry the cross the entire way because of the abuse that His earthly body had obtained. He took his last breath next to a man whom He had just witnessed to and another whom did not believe. In three days time, after His body had been laying in a tomb, but His soul had been in hell opening the gates so that those whom He loved would not perish but would have eternal life. He came back to His earthly body so that we could rise again and go up to heaven to be with His father, until the time comes (which btw not even Jesus knows) that He can come back to earth again to save His Father's sons and daughters.
Now tell me.... Do you really think that He would have gone thru all that if He did not love you??
Jesus is amazing. So.... very very amazing that I can not even think of words or ways to show my admiration to Him who has done all this, and soo very much more for me. Just cause He loves us.
